About Manilva

Manilva, a prominent residential and tourist resort west of Estepona, includes beaches, golf, the La Duquesa marina, and excellent property value, it's a tourist and suburban region with its own personality, and is located about halfway between the seaside town of Estepona and the luxury residential resort of Sotogrande.
 
On the western edge of the Costa del Sol, the Manilva coastline spans many kilometers of sandy beaches and coves filled with aloe plants and historic watchtowers. Estepona is five minutes east, Sotogrande is ten minutes west, and Marbella is less than half an hour east of Málaga and its international airport. The nearest airport, though, is Gibraltar, which is approximately 20 minutes away, and much of the emphasis is focused on Casares, a picturesque white mountain hamlet nearby.
 
Driving through beautiful valleys and into the foothills of the huge Serrana de Ronda mountain system, which dominates most of southern Andalusia, is how you get to the latter. The journey from Manilva's coast to Casares' panoramic heights takes just over 20 minutes, passing by country'venta' eateries and gorgeous forested hills along the route. An area of vines stretches between Casares and the little hillside town of Sabinillas - the traditional Spanish settlement around which Manilva is concentrated – producing the region's renowned sweet wines.

Manilva provides a wide choice of possibilities for home purchasers and represents excellent value for money.
